The fruit for the 2015 Greg Norman Estates Sauvignon Blanc was sourced predominantly from the Awatere and Wairau sub-regions of Marlborough. These locales are known for imparting subtle dry herb notes and rich texture to the final wine. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night and then pressed on receipt into the winery. The free run juice was inoculated with a carefully selected yeast strain and fermented in stainless steel to retain the vibrant fresh fruit characters. The finished wine opens with tropical aromas of passion fruit and guava. The palate is generous with concentrated flavors of lemon-lime citrus and tropical fruits like pineapple and more guava, with very subtle herbal undertones. This incredibly aromatic wine has a soft textural finish and bright acidity.

The Marlborough region of New Zealand is like none other in the world and is well known for growing outstanding Sauvignon Blanc. The Marlborough region is located in the northeast of the South Island. Strong diurnal temperatures allow the sun-loving Sauvignon Blanc to ripen to the fullest but the very cool evenings ensure the grapes retain their bright acidity. The unique and distinct flavor profile is the hallmark of the region and a favorite among wine drinkers.
