Introduction:
A captivating and elegant chardonnay from Burgundy’s Montagny appellation, this Tête de Cuvée delivers layered richness, bright acidity, and compelling depth, showcasing the finesse of white Burgundy with energy and poise.

Terrior:
Sourced from steep, south-facing parcels in Montagny, the vineyards are planted in well-drained limestone-rich soils. The cool continental climate and aspect promote slow maturation and vibrant acidity, lending definition and minerality to the wine.

Appearance:
Brilliant pale gold with greenish reflections, clear and expressive.

Nose:
The Nose unfolds with orchard fruit—apple blossom, quince, and pear—flowing into richer notes of lemon curd, toasted brioche, marzipan, honey, and ginger. Subtle hints of wet stone and white flowers add refinement and allure.

Palate:
Medium-bodied with a refined, layered structure. Flavors of Honeycrisp apples, juicy pears, and fresh citrus fruits entwine with creamy nuances of almond and buttercream. A crisp backbone of minerality and tightly coiled acidity supports the wine’s texture, enhancing its complexity.

Finish:
Long and precise, with lingering notes of orchard fruit, saline minerality, and a fresh citrus tapenade that leaves the palate bright and poised.

Overall Impression:
A polished and refined Montagny that balances richness with energy. The Tête de Cuvée offers immediate appeal with its fruit purity and texture, yet maintains the structure and tension to reward short-term cellaring. Perfect with shellfish, roast chicken, or creamy risotto.
