PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Côtes de Gascogne wines hail from the region of Gascony in Southwest France, which has proven to be a veritable gold mine for well-priced pink and white wines that are high in quality. Its terroir, defined by maritime influences, hot, dry summers, abundant sunshine, and well-drained soils of clay-limestone, bring forth super tasty juice that deftly balances ripe fruit characters with acidity. Indeed, the wines from Côtes de Gascogne taste like sunshine in a bottle.

The Château de Millet is located in Eauze in the heart of Armagnac. Devoted to mixed farming and the production of Armagnac, the Domaine today has 80 hectares of vines for the production of Côtes de Gascogne wines. Proprietor Francis Dèche follows in the footsteps of the five generations that preceded him. He farms with respect for the environment, makes wine from indigenous varietals, and espouses new winemaking practices while adhering to tradition. (adapted from importer notes)

The 2022 Domaine de Millet "La Cloche" Côtes de Gascogne Rosé has aromas of violets and red fruits, followed by a palate of strawberries, cherries, and pomegranates laced with citrus notes and vibrant acidity.
