PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
With a long wine-growing tradition, Marsuret - the local nickname for the Marsura family - has been producing Prosecco since the founding of the company in 1936 by Agostino Marsura. The family's mission is to produce world-class sparkling wines through their passion for the cultivation of their family-owned vineyards. Sons Giovanni, Valter, and Ermes grew up among the vines and today hold the reins of the company, bringing fresh ideas, new skills, increased knowledge, and great enthusiasm to Marsuret.
The family owns 45 hectares of vineyards that are found scattered throughout the most prestigious Prosecco production zones. The unique exposure, microclimate, and soil characteristics of each location make the quality extraordinary in each wine. The grapes are harvested manually, with picking usually starting in mid-September and lasting about one month.
The 2021 Marsuret Prosecco Rosé Brut Millesimato is made from 90% glera and 10% pinot nero. "Bright pink in color, it is fragrant and floral on the nose, with a palate of citrus fruits, raspberries, and strawberries. Precise and clear on the palate, it is very dry, with persistent bubbles."
