PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The man behind the Vino Moscato is none other than Charles Smith, who became the most iconic winemaker in Washington State - and the recipient of numerous "Winemaker of the Year" awards - by adhering to a simple philosophy: that wines should be varietally correct, fruit-driven, high in quality and low in price.

Once again, Charles Smith has nailed it with today's wine. The Vino Moscato was sourced from Upland Vineyard in the Snipes Mountain AVA located in the heart of the Yakima Valley. Upland has slopes facing in all four cardinal directions with elevations ranging from 750 to 1300 feet as well as some of the oldest and most diverse soils in the state - ancient, rocky soils mostly untouched by the Missoula Floods. (from winemaker notes)

From the incredible 2018 vintage, the Vino Moscato has lovely floral and stone fruit aromatics followed by an effervescent palate of mandarin oranges, peaches, and honeysuckle, with vibrant acidity that makes it lively and refreshing. Check out the press!

90 points, James Suckling:
"Fun and delicious, off-dry moscato with sliced-pear and peach character. Medium body. Creamy-textured finish. Very aromatic, too." (5/10/21)

90 points, Jeb Dunnuck:
"I always love this wine from the CasaSmith label and the 2018 Vino Moscato doesn't disappoint, offering a juicy, sugared lime, honeyed pink grapefruit, and crushed mint-like array of aromas and flavors in its medium-bodied, off-dry, slightly carbonated package. It doesn't get more gulpable or delicious, and it's going to be versatile on the table, pairing well with a cheese course or any number of fruit desserts." (5/6/21)
