PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Mas Marer is a project between Sara Perez and Rene Barbier. They have good, loyal people working for them who have their own vineyards, just outside Priorat in Montsant. This blend of grenache, syrah, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot from schist soils is full-bodied and silky-smooth, with aromas and flavors of red and black fruits laced with mocha, tobacco, wet stone, and baking spices.
