Stephanie and Brian Terrizzi founded Broadside Wines with the goal of crafting juice that showcases the unique soils and topography of Paso Robles. Working with consulting winemaker extraordinaire Adam Lazarre, they absolutely nailed it, producing elegant, well-balanced wines that deftly display varietally correct fruit characters and convey a distinct sense of place.

The Broadside winemaking team approaches each wine as a blank canvas, thus capturing the vine’s personality, the soil in the vineyard, and the influence of mother nature. They source their grapes from sustainably farmed vineyards in order to preserve the purity of fruit and terroir. Today’s wine epitomizes the team's winemaking philosophy and style.*

The 2021 Broadside Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards in the AVAs of San Juan Creek and Santa Margarita Ranch, all within the larger Paso Robles AVA.

A blend of 76% cabernet sauvignon, 10% petit verdot, 7% merlot, 5% lagrein, and 2% malbec, it has aromas of cedar, cigar box, blackberries, and hints of olives. The palate offers jam-packed flavors of plum, black olive, and dark chocolate. Big, dusty tannins support the seamless mouthfeel and a delicate core of acidity stretches out the finish.
