The TerraNoble Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserva is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah sourced from grapes grown in the Colchagua Valley: the Marchigue and Los Cactus Vineyards on the coastline and the Los Lingues Vineyard which lies in the shadows of the Andes Mountains. The diversity in weather and soil brings forth a wine that is powerful and complex yet exceptionally well balanced. Stainless-steel fermented and aged for 12 months in a combination of stainless steel vats and oak barrels, it is full-bodied, silky, and absolutely luscious. Super-satisfying sip after glorious sip, it is resplendent on the nose and palate with red and black fruits layered with sweet baking spices and savory herbs, with the merest hint of woodsmoke and vanilla. Velvety tannins make this wine totally crushable. Check out the press!
92 points, James Suckling:
“Dark and smoky. The major tannin structure needs until 2019 or 2020 to fully harmonize, but this does have more than enough berry fruit to carry that.” (3/18)
