PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Buehler Vineyards is a fourth-generation, family-owned winery perched atop a hill overlooking the town of Saint Helena. For four generations, the family has been crafting cabernet and zinfandel-based wines that are focused and pure expressions of place, thanks to their minimalist approach to winemaking that lets the terroir do the talking.

Sourced from estate vineyard blocks in the hills above Conn Valley and near the base of Howell Mountain, today's offer was aged for 18 months in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels. It has aromas of ripe black cherries and black plums, with enticing barrel qualities of cola and spice that complement the fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine shows layers of deeply extracted black fruit flavors that only mature hillside vineyards can render. The Estate Cabernet is the most age-worthy wine in the Buehler portfolio and can be enjoyed anytime over the next 15 years. (David Cronin, winemaker)
