Vinous: Rated: 92 points
The 2015 du Parc comes across as more tannic and not quite as sexy as it was from barrel. Some of that may be attributable to its relatively recent bottling just a few months before this tasting. Time in the glass brings out the wine's aromatic presence and dark, potent fruit, but readers will have to be patient. Du Parc emerges from two parcels: one next to Fleur Cardinale and one next to Monbousquet. Alain Raynaud recently sold du Parc to American investor Tom Sullivan and has stayed on as the consulting winemaker. -- Antonio Galloni
CHÂTEAU DU PARC ST.-EMILION 2015 (February 2, 2018)
Very pretty blackberry and orange-peel aromas with floral hints. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Chewy and linear. Needs a two or three years to soften the extraction. Try in 2020.
