PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The 2019 Château Larquey Bordeaux Supérieur is a classic blend of 80% cabernet sauvignon and 20% merlot. These varietals fit together like puzzle pieces; merlot's fleshy, ripe fruits and soft tannins mesh beautifully with the firm tannins and dark, brooding fruits of cabernet sauvignon, making the final blend so much greater than the sum of its parts.
It is full-bodied, smooth, and effortlessly delicious. Aged in oak for 12 months, it has a nose of black fruits followed by a palate of cassis and black cherries flanked by notes of graphite, cedar, and herbs. The wine is infused with bright, balancing acidity that brings it to a long finish.
