PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Château Sainte Croix is a fourth-generation family-owned estate located in the town of Carcès that was built as a fortress in the 12th century by Cistercian monks. Its clayey/calcareous soils, mild winters, hot, dry summers, and abundant sunshine create a terroir that brings forth crisp, beautifully balanced rosé wines.
Today's rosé is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah that will tantalize your senses with aromas and flavors of citrus fruits, pomegranates, and fresh strawberries. The palate has accents of pears, peaches, and Honeydew melons as well as a hint of stony minerality. Its vibrant, juicy acidity will make it pair beautifully with just about anything you prepare for dinner - or you can simply enjoy it sans cuisine on a beautiful, sunny afternoon.
