Aged for 12 moths in oak barrels, it has aromas of ripe black cherries, cassis, and black raspberries entwined with hints of pepper, spicy oak, graphite, and herbal garrigue. The palate is rich and concentrated, with flavors of blackberries, cassis, and plum jam laced with accents of dark chocolate, leather, and Asian spice. Fine grained tannins bring balance without detracting from the wine's plush texture.
