Grapes for today's wines were sourced from a highly-curated selection of sustainably-farmed vineyard sites throughout California. The juice is not over-manipulated; the winemaker uses blending to bring out the best that each vintage has to offer.
The Farmhouse Red is a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Carignane, Mourvèdre, and Petite Sirah aged for 7 months in French oak (40% new). Medium-to-full-bodied, it offers an intriguing nose of black fruits that give way to robust flavors of raspberries and black cherries, with accents of vanilla and toast and a hint of black pepper on the long finish.
