Aged for 20 months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak followed by two years of bottle aging, it has aromas of black fruits, coffee beans, clove, and balsamic followed by a rich, lushly-textured palate redolent with flavors of blackberries, cassis, and black cherries layered with accents of cocoa, baking spices, and toasty oak.
