Santa Julia+ represents the value tier of wines produced by Familia Zuccardi, one of Argentina's most highly regarded winemaking families dating back nearly sixty years. Third-generation owner and winemaker Sebastian Zuccardi, dubbed a "terroir-ist" by Wine Advocate, knows not to interfere with the gifts that nature bestowed on his family's vineyards located in the Maipo subregion of Mendoza. He takes a non-interventionist approach to his craft, creating sustainable wines that are decadent reflections of this sun-drenched land.

The 2022 Santa Julia(+) Torrontes offers an intense nose of orange blossoms, rose petal, and white peach. The palate is juicy and lip-smackingly good, with aromas and flavors of lime zest, orange peel, lychee, melon, and grapefruit all expressed on a light to medium-bodied frame and brought into balance by vibrant acidity. Served with a good chill, it is reminiscent of a top shelf Albarino from Spain or a sexy Greek Moscofilero, it is hard to imagine a more refreshing white wine on a hot Summer day.
