Established by two Piedmontese brothers with a passion for barbera in 1997, Pico Maccario deftly balances innovation and tradition, with wines that are incredibly delicious and authentic. Their iconic cuvée, Lavignone, hails from a single 54-hectare block, the largest barbera cru in existence, and drinks like a love letter to Piedmont.*
 
The 2022 Pico Maccario Lavignone Barbera d'Asti beguiles the senses with heady aromatics of raspberry compote laced with herbs and hints of wet stone. The palate is medium-bodied, with flavors of ripe black raspberries, black cherries, and brambly earth notes. Vibrant acidity gives the wine lift and brings it to a long, fruit-filled finish.
