Production & Aging:
This bourbon is part of Heaven Hill's Grain to Glass series, emphasizing the use of unique corn seed varietals. For this release, the distillery collaborated with Beck’s Hybrids to select the Beck’s 6158 corn varietal, grown locally by Peterson Farms in Kentucky. The bourbon was aged for over six years in rickhouse W3, spanning the third, fourth, and fifth floors, and bottled without chill filtration.
Distinctive Characteristics:
The higher wheat content in the mash bill, combined with the unique Beck’s 6158 corn varietal, imparts a rich and complex flavor profile, distinguishing it from traditional wheated bourbons.
Ideal Serving Suggestions:
To fully appreciate its complexity, it's recommended to enjoy this bourbon neat or with a few drops of water to open up its nuanced flavors.
