The name Perrin is inextricably tied to the wines of the southern Rhône Valley. For five generations, the Perrins, under the family surname as well as the name Beaucastel (the name of their iconic Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate), have been crafting wines that are benchmarks for other producers in the region. A bottle of Rhône Valley wine bearing the Perrin name is guaranteed to be nothing short of excellent. 

Famille Perrin raises the bar once again for Côtes du Rhônes. A seductive blend of  40% grenache, 40% mourvèdre, and 20% syrah, it is medium-to-full-bodied, with aromas of spicy black fruits and a smooth palate of kirsch and blackberries laced with subtle hints of brambly earth and garrigue. Pliant tannins provide structure without taking away from the silky texture; hints of white pepper appear on the long finish.
