Matt and Alexis Iaconis established Brick & Mortar Winery over a shared love for vibrant, expressive wines with a true sense of place, and they had the most profound reverence for the elegant, cool-climate wines from Burgundy and Champagne. While they crafted beautiful expressions of the varietals native to these hallowed appellations in AVAs surrounding their Healdsburg winery, they yearned to expand their horizons to cooler climates.

Their search led them to Mendocino's Anderson Valley, where the high elevation and proximity to the maritime influences of the Pacific Ocean bring forth fruit that ripens slowly, with impeccable balance between ripeness and acidity.

Luscious brambly fruits and woodsy notes are distinctive in the 2022 Brick & Mortar Pinot Noir Anderson Valley. Highly aromatic and boisterous, red raspberries, violets, and redwood forest notes frame the silky, lush palate. Bright blackberry and plum flavors combine with cherry blossom and fresh cedar, highlighted by juniper and bay laurel; unique markers for pinot noir from this region.
