PRODUCT OVERVIEW/REVIEWS:
Established in 1982 by Fred Cline, Cline Cellars is a family-owned winery with humble beginnings in Oakley, Contra Costa County. Over the years, as the business has grown, the Clines acquired vineyards throughout northern California and moved their winery from Oakley to Sonoma. Driven by a desire to produce wines of the highest quality while being stewards of the land, the Clines farm their vineyards sustainably, with a commitment to preserving ecological balance and our natural resources.
The 2022 Cline Viognier is sourced from eight vineyards located in Mendocino, Lake County, and the Sonoma Coast. These sites provide the grapes with abundant warmth and sunshine during the day followed by cool nights - just the right conditions to help the fruit achieve the perfect balance between ripeness and acidity.
Light golden straw in color with aromas of mandarin blossom with tropical and stone fruits, the 2022 Cline Viognier has a full-bodied palate with a creamy texture balanced by bright acidity alongside flavors of orange, peach, apricot, pineapple, and mango sorbet with a touch of vanilla. It is long and rich on the finish. (adapted from winery notes)
