Introduction:
The NV Pol Roger Brut Réserve is a hallmark of classic Champagne style—balanced, refined, and elegant. Known as “White Foil,” it represents the house’s signature cuvée, delivering a blend of freshness, richness, and finesse that defines Pol Roger’s reputation.
Terroir:
Sourced from 30 different crus across the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs. Vineyards sit on chalk and limestone soils, providing the minerality, tension, and longevity that Champagne is known for. The cool climate ensures slow ripening, high acidity, and vibrant aromatics.
Tasting notes:
Pol Roger's signature cuvée, the Brut Réserve, is composed of equal parts pinot noir, pinot meunier, and chardonnay, from 30 different crus. 25% reserve wines are used in the final blend, and the wine is cellar-aged for three years. It displays a beautiful golden straw-colored hue, as well as abundant and fine bubbles. It delivers aroms of pears and mangos entwined with notes of honeysuckle, white jasmine, vanilla, and brioche. On the palate, flavors of quince jelly and apricot jam happily mingle with acacia honey, candied orange peel, tangerine, cardamom, and anise.*
Press:
"Bread crust, sliced apples, citrus, and some raspberries on the nose of this refreshing Champagne. Crisp on the palate, with fine bubbles and a tight, clean finish. A third each of pinot noir, meunier, and chardonnay. Based on the 2021 vintage. Disgorged October 2024." (7/15/25)
