Founded in 1926 and located in the heart of the Sorbara DOC, Paltrinieri is a 17-hectare estate run by fourth-generation owners Alberto Paltrinieri and his wife, Barbara since 1988. Its relatively small holdings allow them to lavish plenty of attention on the wines -and the world has taken notice. As the writer Ian d’Agata says of Paltrinieri: “…in my opinion the best producer of Lambrusco di Sorbara today.” (Vinous, Jan 2018).

The Paltrinieri "Solco" Lambrusco, made from 100% Salamino, is aromatic and fruit-forward, with aromas of violets and red fruits such as cherries, raspberries, and strawberries. The palate is bursting with flavors of ripe black raspberries and blackberries laced with hints of baking spices and wet stone. The bubbles and bright acidity enhance the wine's vibrancy and beg you to take another sip.
