Castle Rock is a modern-day negociant winery whose slogan, "lovely on the palate, easy on the wallet" perfectly encapsulates its philosophy. Long-standing relationships with over 40 growers from AVAs in California, Oregon, and Washington State enable Castle Rock to craft delicious wines that are true reflections of their terroir, thus consistently delivering big-time value to consumers.

California’s Lodi region has been cultivating grapes since the 1850s and is the fruit source for the 2021 Castle Rock Zinfandel. Here, the long, dry summers, cool, damp winters, and loamy soils provide the ideal growing conditions for the zinfandel varietal. This complex, full-bodied wine has aromas of ripe bing cherries, raspberries, anise, and boysenberry jam that follow on the palate. Pliant tannins add structure without detracting from the wine's silky mouthfeel, and the long finish displays hints of caramel.
