Introduction:
The 2023 Icardi L’Aurora Cortese Piemonte DOC is an elegant and refreshing white from Piedmont, offering a harmonious balance of delicate fruit, crisp acidity, and gentle floral lift. A great expression of Cortese with outstanding value.

Terroir:
Sourced from vineyards in Piemonte’s DOC zone, situated on well-drained calcareous-clay and sandy soils. The cool continental climate and modest elevation help preserve freshness and subtle minerality in the wines.

Appearance:
Pale straw yellow with green-gold reflections; lively and clear in the glass.

Nose:
Delicate aromas of white flowers, green apple, lime zest, and almond blossoms, with a hint of fresh citrus peel and herbal subtlety.

Palate:
Light to medium-bodied, with crisp acidity and a clean, bright core. Flavors of pear, lemon-lime, and almond are complemented by a chalky mineral underpinning. The texture is fresh and lively, with admirable clarity and finesse.

Finish:
Clean and persistent—lemon zest and orchard fruit fade into a stony mineral echo, ending with a refined saline lift.

Overall Impression:
A fine example of Cortese from Piemonte—light, refreshing, and very food-friendly. Excellent with oysters, grilled fish, salads, or simply as a crisp aperitif. Best enjoyed now through 2026.
