A blend of nebbiolo and barbera aged in oak for 8 months, the 2022 Angelo Gaja Sito Moresco Langhe has a vibrant fruit profile. Aromas of cherries, red plums, and red berries are entwined with notes of orange peel, roses, and forest floor that emerge with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and juicy, with flavors of raspberries, cherries, and blackberries; accents of fresh spice, wet stone, and cedar unfold layer by layer on the mid-palate. Pliant tannins and juicy acidity provide structure and balance. The finish is long-lasting, persistent, and marked by a refreshing crispness.
