Fermented and aged in stainless steel to showcase the wine's ebullient fruit characters, the 2021 Saragat Cannonau di Sardegna has aromas of red and black fruits and subtle hints of violets. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with flavors of brambly wild cherries, blackberries, red currants, and Mediterranean herbs. Pliant tannins lend structure without detracting from the wine's silky mouthfeel; a whiff of black pepper appears on the vibrant, long finish.
