Vecchia Cantina is a cooperative of growers founded in 1937. Today, it has about 400 members who have chosen to work together with passion and respect for the land with a common goal: to guarantee high-quality yet affordable wines.
The cooperative has vineyards throughout Tuscany as well as Perugia in Umbria. Working with a team of agronomists and ecologists, the members adhere to traditional winemaking practices while embracing modern techniques.
The 2023 Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano Chianti has aromas of floral-tinged red fruits laced with hints of vanilla. The medium-bodied palate has flavors of brambly cherries and raspberries, with accents of savory herbs and licorice that persist through the long finish.
