Château Miraval is an estate dating back to the third century and is notable for its ancient terraced vineyards. These magnificent cascading stone-walled terraces have been perfectly restored to their traditional form. The vineyards on the estate are cultivated without using herbicides, pesticides, or chemicals that can enter the vine and affect the evolution of the fruit. With investments in the latest winemaking technology and a passion for excellence at every stage of production, Miraval has maintained and actually expanded its reputation for delivering top-quality wines.

In 1970, the well-known jazz pianist and composer Jacques Loussier took ownership of the estate, turning it into a recording studio – Le Studio de Miraval. There, a number of famous musicians like Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade, The Cranberries, and The Gipsy Kings came to record some of their most popular works.

In 2011, Château Miraval was purchased by Brangelina, otherwise known as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The couple had discovered the property several years earlier as a summer retreat and were actually married on the property. Despite their famous uncoupling in 2016, the two still retain ownership of the estate. Along with their partners, the Famille Perrin of Château Beaucastel fame, they are actively involved in the continued evolution of the winery as a leading producer of fine wine in Provence.

But of course, the real question should be... are the wines any good? Let us tell you right now that the answer is a resounding YES!

Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats (95%) and in barrels (5%) with batonnage (stirring of the lees), the 2024 Château Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino), and Syrah. The nose is refined and elegant, revealing a superb aromatic bouquet that blends floral notes with tangy hints of citrus and stone fruits. The palate is ample and fresh, with flavors of strawberries, grapefruits, and white peaches punctuated by saline and mineral accents that underscore its freshness and complexity.
