Château Moulinat is owned by Marielle and Eric Sage and has been in the Sage family since the 1840s. The property is located in the commune (village) of Loubens in the appellation of Entre-deux-Mers, about 30 miles southeast of the city of Bordeaux. They have 26 hectares of vines planted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Their wine is a testament to their knowledge, dedication, and passion.

The 2023 Château Moulinat is a blend of 70% Merlot 70%, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks to preserve the wines ebullient fruit characters. Aromas of black fruits lead to a medium-bodied palate with ripe flavors of blackberries, cassis, and black cherries laced with hints of brambly earth and baking spices. Fine-grained tannins lend structure without detracting from the wine's silky, fleshy texture. Echos of black cherries linger on the finish.
