Year after year, these dedicated men and women cultivate bright and balanced fruit and transform them into wines that are transmitters of time and place. The place, Monferrato, ranks among the most historic grape-growing areas of Piedmont. For that reason, the collective works primarily with Monferrato’s indigenous grape varieties.
The 2024 Ercole Rosato is sourced from vineyards across the Monferrato area of Piedmont; the vines are planted in calcareous clay and sandy soils that provide both drainage and water retention. The rolling hills and moderate continental climate, marked by warm summers and cool evenings, support even ripening while preserving acidity. The 2024 vintage benefited from balanced growing conditions, allowing the grapes to develop ripe fruit characters without sacrificing their natural freshness.
Today's classic blend of 65% Barbera and 35% Dolcetto is fleshy and ripe, with aromas and flavors of wild strawberries, raspberries, citrus fruits, and watermelon. Bright acidity cuts through the generous fruits and leaves you wanting another sip.
