The D.O.C.G. "Asolo Prosecco" area lies in the Veneto region, north of Venice, in the province of Treviso in the Montello and Colli Asolani hills at the foot of the Dolomites. The finest vineyard sites lie on the southern side of the hills, on sunny south-facing slopes whose gentle gradient and loose soils offer excellent drainage. The La Gioioso Asolo Prosecco DOCG Millesimato 2022 is crafted from 100% estate-grown glera. Fine, persistent bubbles, aromas of stone fruits and acacia flowers, a slightly off-dry palate with ripe Golden Delicious apples flanked with citrus and stone fruits, and moderate acidity make this wine a stellar crowd-pleaser.
