The Mila Albariño is produced by Pazo Pondal, a family winery founded in 1998. Their estate is located on the north bank of the Río Miño, in Arbo, one of the best sub-regions for Albariño. The estate includes 37 acres of trellised vineyards, where they specialize and produce only white varietals – mainly Albariño. They farm organically for healthier plants and purer expressions of varietal and terroir.*

Mila means "thousand" and the 2024 Mila Albariño is named in honor of Rías Biaxas, "The Land of a Thousand Rivers." The wine has aromas of Meyer lemons, limes, and white peaches laced with notes of jasmine. The palate is bright and zesty, with flavors of green apples; ripe peaches, and subtle tropical undertones. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with hints of saline-tinged minerality.
