PRODUCT OVERVIEW/REVIEWS:The “Cuvée des Terrasses has been a smash hit here at Bin Ends since The Beginning, particularly in 2012 when we sold out our stash of the 2009 vintage and cultivated a huge fan base among many of our customers. This fabulous, modern-style Rhône red was a spectacular value, with its layers of intense fruit, spiciness, earthiness, supple tannins, and ridiculous price - and it still is!
The 2018 Château Pesquié "Cuvée des Terrasses" is a blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes sourced from the various terroirs of the estate, ranging from gravelly soil to limestone to iron-oxide rich clay. The Grenache spent 6 months in a combination of stainless steel tanks and oak foudres, while the Syrah aged for 6 months in neutral oak barrels. All this diversity in grapes, terroir, and vinification has resulted in a wine that is rich and complex.
Cuvée des Terrasses is universally loved by wine critics and professionals, who, year after year, give it 90+ ratings in the press. If you are new to the "Terrasses", you are guaranteed to become a lifelong fan after one sip, guaranteed!

"The 2018 Ventoux Terrasses is a normal blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that was mostly destemmed and brought up in a mix of concrete and stainless steel. It offers a rocking bouquet of black cherries, ground pepper, flowers, and violets, with almost marine- like hints in its minerality. Medium to full-bodied, fresh, focused, pure, and with fine tannins, it's another winner from this domaine." (8//16/19)
