The Baglio delle Fate estate is owned by siblings Valentina and Cesare Nicodemo, who own and operate the Judeka vineyard in Sicily. Passionate about Sicilian wines and tradition, the Nicodemos established Baglio della Fate to showcase Sicilian grapes. To this end, they farm their vineyards sustainably to maintain purity of fruit and terroir.

The 2021 Baglio delle Fate Nero d'Avola is fermented and aged in stainless steel. This full-bodied pleasure bomb has aromas and flavors of blackberries and black cherries laced with hints of tobacco and baking spice, with a subtle whiff of black pepper on the long and juicy finish.
