The 2023 Foppiano Petite Sirah is a sophisticated and sumptuous example of the varietal, one of the most complex examples of Petite Sirah you will find. Blueberries and baked huckleberries lead the aromas, with a hint of white pepper, dried herbs, and toasted bread. The flavors mimic the aromas, with a substantial mid-palate of blueberries, black tea, baked cherries, fruit preserves, and the merest hint of licorice. The wine finishes with pie crust, oak spice and tannins developing into a pleasant textural polish.*
