The Valle dell’Acate estate, located in the southeastern province of Ragusa, is a sixth-generation family business currently under the care of Gaetana Jacono, a fierce advocate for Sicilian wines who brought the estate into the 21st century with top-notch wines of impeccable pedigree that beautifully reflect the region’s terroir. Her cuvées have raised the bar for other wines in the area and have elevated the quality of wines from the region. 80 hectares are farmed organically and are planted to native varietals, mostly frappato and nero d’avola. 

The 2022 "BelliFolli" Nero d'Avola has aromas and flavors of black cherries, blackberries, and plums laced with licorice and baking spices. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, presenting a fresh, vibrant interpretation of the varietal. Ideal for the warmer months, it can be chilled or served at room temperature.
