Malbec's ancestral home is Cahors, in Southwest France. Grown here for centuries, it thrives in the region's clay and limestone soils and benefits from the moderating influences of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Third-generation winemaker Georges Vigouroux and his son Bertrand Gabriel are Malbec specialists and stewards of this land that they believe brings forth the best Malbecs in the world. One sip of today's wine will have you convinced they are right!

The 2021 Gouleyant Cahors Malbec is blended with a bit of Merlot and is dark cherry red. Its nose is typical of the Malbec variety with notes of ripe red and black fruits (cherry, blackberry, raspberry, etc…). The palate is also very fruity and finishes on soft and elegant tannins.
