PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Enoteca Bisson was established in 1978 by Pierluigi Lugano. While the winery is in Liguria, today's wine gave Pierluigi the opportunity to expand beyond its borders. Collaborating with his friend Eli Spagnol of the 30-hectare Torre Zecchei in the elite Valdobbiadene district of the Veneto, he sought to craft a sparkling wine from the native glera varietal that was dry, racy, vivid, and fresh. Mission, accomplished, thanks to some mad winemaking skills and the glorious terroir of Valdobbiadene. It should be noted that this wine would be classified as Prosecco DOCG but for the decision by Pierluigi and Eli to utilize a crown cap closure for quality purposes.

With only 2 grams of residual sugar, the 2021 Bisson Glera Vino Frizzante Bianco is zesty and refreshing, with aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits and flavors of acacia honey, green apples, and nectarines laced with wet stone.
