PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
With a generations-long wine-growing tradition, Marsuret - the local nickname for the Marsura family - has been producing Prosecco since the founding of the company in 1936 by Agostino Marsura. The family's mission is to produce world-class sparkling wines that express the terroir of their family-owned vineyards. Sons Giovanni, Valter, and Ermes grew up among the vines and today hold the reins of the company, bringing fresh ideas, new skills, increased knowledge, and great enthusiasm to Marsuret.

The family owns 45 hectares of vineyards that are found scattered throughout the most prestigious Prosecco production zones. The unique exposure, microclimate, and soil characteristics of each location make the quality extraordinary in each wine. The grapes are harvested manually, with picking usually starting in mid-September and lasting about one month. (from importer notes)

The Marsuret Prosecco Extra Dry NV is crafted from 100% glera sourced from several vineyards in the Treviso DOC in the Veneto comprised of clay overlaid with sand. Both primary and secondary fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks. A fine stream of bubbles complements its pale straw-yellow appearance and intense yet delicate fruity aromas. The palate displays hints of peach and honey, with enough crispness to keep it lively and refreshing.
