PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Romain Reverdy and his family have been farming in the village of Verdigny for generations. "Florilege" translates into "the act of gathering flowers"; today's wine is named after the blossoms surrounding Reverdy's vineyards. The ancient, well-drained Silex and Kimmeridgian soils, comprised of sandstone, limestone, and clay, bring forth compelling wines that are among the highest quality in the world.*
Romain Reverdy began his Sancerre production in 2014, after completing his studies at the Dijon University School of Enology and stages (winemaking apprenticeships) in France and Australia. Today, he farms 16 hectares of sauvignon blanc and pinot noir vines in 3 Sancerre communes, producing white, rosé, and red Sancerre wines.*
