Herdade do Esporão is collective of wineries dedicated to the sustainable production of wines showcasing Portuguese varietals, and the Tinto Reserva is the pinnacle of their portfolio.
Crafted from alicante bouschet, touriga nacional, aragonez, trincadeira, and cabernet sauvignon grown in soils of granite, schist, clay, and loam, today's wine is full, intense, and smooth. Aged in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels for 12 months, it beguiles the senses with aromas and flavors of blackberries, ripe plums, and black raspberries. On the palate, these ripe fruits are entwined with notes of baking spices, cocoa, and licorice.
