PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Bodegas Gallegas was established 50 years ago by Manuel Vázquez, whose modest beginnings include selling his juice through a neighboring winery. He was able to build on his initial success and gradually started purchasing land throughout Galicia. Eventually has was able to expand his holdings to include vineyards in Galicia's major appellations: Ribeira Sacra, Rías Baixas, and Ribeiro. Today, this thriving winery has 300 hectares planted to native varietals.

Today's wine is crafted from 100% albariño from three subzones of Rías Baixas, each contributing unique characteristics to the final blend. Fruit from the coastal area known as Val do Salnés adds heady aromatics and salinity; grapes from the inland Condado do Tea region contribute ripe fruit characters; fruit from the cooler subzone of Ribeira do Ulla adds structure and acidity.

The 2020 Bodegas Gallegas Sentidiño Albarino beguiles the senses with aromas of floral-tinged tangerines and a palate of peaches and pink grapefruit laced with stony minerality and the merest hint of salinity, with vibrant acidity that brings the wine to a long finish and begs you to take another sip - go right ahead!
