Since its inception in 2007, Paul Dolan Vineyards has remained dedicated to creating exceptional wines through the highest organic standards. They have embraced Regenerative Agriculture practices, enhancing their commitment to the environment. By farming in the image of nature, rather than trying to control it, they have cultivated vibrant vineyards that thrive with a diverse ecosystem of plants, insects, and animals. This non-interventionist approach to their craft has also resulted in pure, terroir-driven expressions of the varietals they cultivate.*
The 2023 Paul Dolan Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the McFadden Vineyard in Potter Valley, Mendocino County, where the high elevation, excellent sun exposure, and wide diurnal temperature variations make magic with sauvignon blanc. It has enticing aromas of tart green apple, lemongrass, and yuzu complimented by floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. On the palate, the green apple carries through to bright flavors of starfruit and lemon peel, balanced by fresh plantain and a hint of chamomile tea. It is crisp and bright with a juicy mouthfeel that carries through to the refreshing finish.*
