Spearheaded by Noah and Kelly Dorrance of Reeve Wines, BloodRoot is a collaboration among venerated winemakers with great vineyard sourcing who have come together to make value-driven wines that overdeliver in terms of quality. The wines are sourced from multiple benchmark vineyards throughout northern California and reflect the soul of each place; they are made at a quality and price level that makes them absolute no-brainers to drink. (winery notes)
The 2022 Bloodroot Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown in Sonoma, Marin, and Mendocino counties. Its aromas of ripe red cherries, raspberries, and cranberries lead to a silky, medium-bodied palate resplendent with flavors of cherries, pomegranates, and strawberries laced with subtle notes of baking spices, forest floor, and violets. Bright acidity brings the wine to a long finish.

"This pinot noir certainly punches above its price point. It's sourced from regions across the California coast. The nose is delightfully aromatic with notes of strawberries, cranberries, and a hint of forest floor. The palate is full of juicy red fruit flavors, lifted by a bright acidity."
