Tasting Notes
Nose: Baking spices with nutmeg, rich caramel, light honey, graham cracker, stone fruits like black cherries and dark plums, hint of anise, and light oak.
Palate: Black tea, simple syrup sweetness, soft caramel, hint of light toast, and ginger towards the end.
Finish: Flavors continue with black pepper and char building; black tea and sweetness linger. Fairly long finish with moderate burn.

Blue Run High Rye Bourbon is a small-batch whiskey, the first Blue Run product with Bourbon Hall of Famer Jim Rutledge serving as the contracted Master Distiller. Distilled at Castle & Key Distillery, this bourbon is aged for at least four years in new American oak barrels.
