Introduction:
The 2024 Château Barthès Bandol Rosé is a refined and structured rosé from one of Provence’s most accomplished estates. Crafted under AOC Bandol regulations, it showcases the intense character and elegance typical of Mourvèdre-based blends.

Terrior:
Sourced from the vineyard bloc around Château Barthès in Le Beausset (Bandol AOC). Soils are sandy-clay over limestone. The estate follows organic-in-conversion practices, hand-harvesting all fruit, with direct pressing (65%) and short skin maceration (35%) before fermentation in stainless steel using native yeasts.

Appearance:
A luminous pale pink with a subtle salmon hue; fresh and beckoning in the glass.

Nose:
Bright and layered, offering red berry aromas (wild strawberry, raspberry), citrus blossom, grapefruit zest, and a note of crushed garrigue herbs with subtle mint and floral nuance.

Palate:
Medium-bodied, with lively acidity and a salivating mineral thread. The fruit profile is crisp—red raspberry and strawberry—balanced by lime zest and a whisper of herbal spice. The mouthfeel is dry, structured, and balanced.

Finish:
Crisp, dry, and lingering—zesty red fruit transitions into a saline, herb-elevated finish that refreshes the palate and cleanses throat.

Overall Impression:
A classic, food-friendly Bandol Rosé—elegant yet generously perfumed. Driven by mineral tension and balanced fruit, it's ideal alongside grilled shellfish, Provençal salads, or tomato-based seafood dishes. Best consumed 2024–2026.
