Bordeaux lovers, NOW is the chance for you to start or add to your collection of your favorite wines. We have secured an allocation of 20 vertical six-packs from one of the Médoc's finest estates, Château Potensac, at an incredible price!

The estate has been in the same family since time immemorial and has always been handed down by women. The current owner, Jean-Hubert Delon, inherited the estate from his paternal grandmother, Georgette Liquard.*

Located on the elevated slopes of Ordonnac, north of Saint-Estèphe, Potensac benefits from a distinctive terroir of clay-gravel hilltops resting on a limestone subsoil, a particularly rare feature in this part of the Médoc. This geological combination promotes drainage, concentration, and natural freshness. The vineyard’s relative altitude also allows it to capture the tempering influences of the Gironde estuary to the east and Atlantic Ocean to the west, bringing beneficial freshness and balance to the wines in warm vintages. The old Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vines, some more than 100 years old, thrive in ideal conditions here to produce well-structured, profound wines with excellent ageing potential.*

"This is an impressively complete wine, the fruit right in context with the dark, dry tannins. All the elements are in place, from the initial juicy fruit to the soft, fresh close."

Vintage 2009, 92 points, James Suckling:
"This is a ripe and very classic Médoc with great cassis fruit, medium body, and supple tannins, making for a very flexible food wine."

Vintage 2010, 93 points, James Suckling:
"Wonderful aromas of blueberries, currants and flowers follow through to a full body, with ultra fine tannins and a gorgeous finish."

Vintage 2015, 92 points, James Suckling:
"A clarity and transparency to this pretty red with currant, lemon-peel and lemon-grass character. Full body, very fine tannins and a pretty texture. Precise wine."

Vintage 2016, 94 points, James Suckling:
"Currants, mushrooms, and a touch of cedar on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with ripe tannins, showing subtle firmness and very balanced fruit."

Vintage 2018, 94 points, James Suckling:
"Fruity nose of blackcurrant and blueberry with sage and vanilla. It’s full-bodied with firm tannins. Savory and juicy with pleasant acidity. Compact and long. Racy."
