Pé Branco is made by the Esporão group. This collective of wineries, established in 2008, is dedicated to the sustainable production of wines showcasing Portuguese varietals. They hit another home run with the Pé Branco. Made in the south-central region of Alentejo from native varietals arinto and fernão pires, this fleshy and bright wine will appeal to just about any white wine lover.
The 2024 Pé Branco is bright yet lushly textured, with aromas of citrus fruits, pears, and Golden delicious apples. Round and full on the mid-palate and infused with balancing acidity, it has flavors of peaches, Honeydew melons, and lemon zest. Orchard fruit notes and a hint of baking spice linger on the finish.
