The winemakers at Domenico Clerico are known for their ability to coax grapes into stunning wines while employing organic practices and respecting the laws of terroir. With holdings in four of the most prestigious vineyard sites in the Barolo "cru" of Monforte (Ginestra, Bussia, Pajana, and Mosconi), their lineup of Barolos manages the impressive feat of standing out among the incredible wines of this world-renowned DOCG.

The 2019 Domenico Clerico Barolo is sourced from Clerico's holdings in Monforte d’Alba situated about 1200 feet above sea level facing east/southeast, giving the vines great sun exposure. The vines were planted between 1969 and 2005 in soils of sand, loam, clay, and limestone; the first vintage of this wine was in 2011.
